Groove Is In The Heart is a cross-aesthetic solo performance that celebrates the resilience of the heart in all its forms and connotations. In an interplay between dance, monologue, sound, and video art, Astrid Sten Andersen seeks to bring the audience close to biomedical processes and turn the symbol of life upside down. The work is her first solo performance and came alive during a residency at Dansatelier in the spring of 2025.
